A young man has faced an embarrassment of a lifetime after he was stripped off his clothes for staking a number of bet slips on credit and couldn’t pay.
This young man was spotted held by his boxer shorts by a young lady who apparently was the caretaker of the betting shop.
Other “investors” at the shop watched as one of them was been dragged to the mud for failing to clear his debt.
The video has been trending online and a number of people are expressing divergent views. Some have blamed the lad for not cutting his coat according to his cloth.
Others are also intimating that the shop attendant didn’t act well by stripping the man of his clothes just to get him settle his debt.
Betting has become the new form of employment for the youths of Africa as the economies of the various countries are in tatters.
Many have found a way of earning a living through staking football bets. Whiles no one has ever become a billionaire through betting, we can’t also deny the fact that it has provided some life saving amounts of money to the youths.
