Ghanaian hiplife and hi-life singer Kidi is not in the good books of most clergymen in Ghana as they have found a way to denigrate his music in their various sermons.
Ever since the musician lost what rightly belonged to him – the Artiste Of The Year, at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards to gospel singer, Diana Hamilton, his music has come under strict scrutiny from pastors.
A video emerged a couple of weeks ago where a pastor was reacting to Kidi’s new jam, “Touch It” during a sermon and spoke ill about the song.
Well, another video has emerged from the pulpit and one pastor is also busy taking Kidi to the cleaners for his song, “Say Cheese”.
The pastor mentioned that the song is senseless and that Kidi should learn from a song that he quoted during same sermon.
Kidi has reacted to the video making the rounds with a cheeky reply. He retweeted the video with the caption, “What at all I do these pastors ei”.
Kidi released his album, Golden Boy a couple of weeks ago and it is still making the rounds on the various digital platforms. He is considered as one of the most consistent musicians in the last couple of years.
The Lynx Entertainment signee has a lot of hit songs to his name. But someway somehow, he seems not to be catching the eye of the pulpit hustlers.
