A lecturer has incurred the wrath of social media users for allegedly walking out female students who were not wearing bra and pant!es to his lectures.
The incident is said to have happened in Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku. The disgruntled students can be seen parked outside of the lecture hall showing their displeasure amongst themselves.
The video of them standing outside hoping that the lecturer will soften his stance and allow them entry was shared on social media and it is quickly going viral.
According to the reports we are getting from the students, some of the students who generally were girls were also sacked from the hall because they were wearing torn jeans.
Apparently, no torn jeans to lecture halls was also part of the rule which has been seen by many social media folks as absurd.
Social Media feminists are taking the school and its lecturers to the cleaners, describing them as been backward. They said it’s a calculated attempt by the lecturers to disadvantage the girls in their pursuit of academic excellence.
Others are also suggesting that the affected students should press legal charges against the lecturer and the school authority.
