Famous Nigerian human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu is not stopping with her activism to make Nigeria a better place to live in.
Known for her fearless talks regarding matters that are considered sensitive in government and the security architecture, Aisha Yesufu has diagnosed the entire Nigeria and has found only one place that she considers safe.
Following the abduction of over 300 students in Kankara Government Science Secondary School in Katsina State over the weekend, most Nigerians are now living in fear than before.
Even though the students have been freed from their Boko Haram captives, most of them say they will never return to the school unless there’s adequate security protection for them.
This recent development and many more in the recent past have pushed Aisha Yesufu to say that, “The safe places in Nigeria are the prisons”.
The safe places in Nigeria are the prisons.

Aisha Yesufu has been advocating for justice in a country that security operatives harass the youth and poor for no wrong doing for most part of her adult life.
She has gained a lot of popularity following her infamous statement that, she wants a Nigeria “where the son/daughter of a nobody can become somebody without knowing anybody”.
She was very vociferous in the End SARS protest that shook Nigeria two months ago.
