Reno Omokri Slams Nigerian Youth For Establishing A GoFundMe Page For Ex BBNaija Housemate, Erica

Trust Reno Omokri to have something to say concerning anything under the sun that has something to do with Nigeria and its people.

After the exit of Erica Nlewedim from Big Brother Naija house contest, her fans swiftly established a GoFundMe page for her. Theywere able to raise about N5 million within five hours to support Erica.

This gesture didn’t go down well with the former Presidential aide who, as usual, took to his Instagram page to share his opinion on it.

He noted that, Nigerians deserve Buhari as their leader because they have misplaced their priorities. He wondered why the youth are quiet on the hikes in fuel and electricity prices whiles concentrating their energy on contributing money for somebody.

He wrote: “In 5 hours, Nigerians raised $15,000 for #BBNaija’s Erica. In 5 days, the same Nigerians have not been able to raise any resistance to General Buhari’s increase of fuel and electricity costs. If you talk, some Nigerians will say come and lead the protest. Who led them to raise a record breaking $15,000 in 5 hours? We can act spontaneously for irrelevancies, but we are looking for others to act for us on relevant things! Nigeria deserves General Buhari!”

Erica got evicted yesterday from the Big Brother Naija contest for breaking the house rules on different occasions. She received her third strike after going haywire on Laycon.

Her third strike per the rules, meant that she was not fit to be in the house any longer and as such was disqualified which eventually led to her eviction.
