Following the recent hike in the public mistrust for the police service, Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artiste Blakk Rasta has asked the police to put some respect on themselves.
The police in recent times are alleged to have been used by those in government to visit mayhem on innocent citizens.
The police were recently in the news for trying to stop the citizens from protesting against the government citing Covid-19 as the reason.
The latest in their act that has brought the name of the institution into disrepute is the Rambo style they stormed media house, Citi FM/TV to arrest some of their journalists.
Blakk Rasta on his Taxi Driver show on Zylofon FM gave his comment on the issue. He advised the police hierarchy to put some integrity on themselves and don’t allow themselves to be used by the influential in society.
Ghanaians have lost trust in the police service and the trend keep going on. This according to many security analyst, is a worrying trend which needs to be arrested as soon as possible.
Police put some integrity on yourself.
