Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has taken to social media to advise the youth to keep their heads up in their hustle and never be ashamed of doing the legal work that put food on their table.
The thespian posed in between his expensive rides and admonish the youth never to feel ashamed of doing the job that keeps the family running for as long as the job is legal.
It’s very common nowadays to see graduates who are sitting in the house idle without any work to do due to the weak foundations our economies are built on.
Unemployment seems to be a global problem but it’s more prevalent in Africa than any part of the world.
This has led a lot of the youth into engaging in other dubious means to get what they need to survive.
But in the midst of all the temptations, some are also doing genuine work but these type of jobs pay very little and the youth end up having little or nothing to show for the donkey work they did.
It’s this category of people that Yul Edochie wants his message to touch. He’s basically sending a message to them that it’s not a crime to do menial jobs even as a graduate.
He wrote: Be proud of your hustle. As long as it’s legit. Do it with all your strength. Coz if you go broke, nobody will give you anything. And nobody owes you anything.”
