Nigeria may have a plethora of high profile problems but right now what troubles the citizens much is their president, Muhammadu Buhari.
The president aside his display of evident incompetence, he has proven in recent times to be insensitive to the plight of the citizens as well.
For the past few weeks, there has been v!olence in the South Eastern part of Nigeria where the Igbos live.
The youth have been att@cking national installations including security set ups in that part of Nigeria.
Reacting to the disturbances, president Buhari tweeted that the youth who are fomenting trouble in the South were oblivious of what happened in Nigeria some decades ago during the civil w@r.
He added that his government will meet them with the language they understand.
This tweet was subsequently deleted by Twitter and this has apparently irked the communication bureau of the presidency led by Lai Mohammed.
The minister of communication and culture held a press conference today to address the deletion of Buhari’s tweets – something which has angered a lot of Nigerians online.
Renowned preacher, Apostle Johnson Suleman also took to his Twitter handle to bite at Buhari and his “jobless” communicators.
He tweeted, reminding Buhari of the bad things that have been going on in the country yet he’s turning a blind eye to that.
He tweeted: ”School children were kidnapped,no federal press conference addressed it. People are k!lled daily,no word of stern threat to the bandits. A tweet was deleted and you had a press conference?. Define joblessness!! Many are mad, few are roaming.”
