Gospel musician and Nollywood actress, Mercy Chinwo has admonished her fellow ladies against taking part in the trending Silhouette Challenge.
She’s the latest to add her voice to the ongoing craze where ladies drop x-rated videos of themselves on social media.
Khafi Kareem, a housemate at the 2019 edition of the Big Brother Naija and respected clergyman, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and many others, all warned against the challenge earlier.
Mercy Chinwo is of the view that it’s not every social media challenge that ladies should join. She admonished them to carry themselves in dignity.
She took to her instagram page to share her piece of advice to her fellow ladies.
She wrote: “Dear women, you don’t have to follow every trend. Carry thyself with dignity, know your worth.. this is why you are different. ”
“Let your light so shine before men so that they may see your good works (Lifestyle, character) and glorify your father in heaven.. #ISTANDAGAINSTSILHOUTTECHALLENGE.”
“Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.
Romans 12:2. ”
