Kumasi based Ghanaian rapper, Flowking Stone has taken a jab at organizers of the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards – VGMA just some few hours after they released the nominees for the various categories.
This year’s edition of the awards scheme will be the 22nd and still a lot of Ghanaians are having some issues with the way they handle the awards.
Many believe that a lot of artistes are not given the needed attention because they do not reside in Accra, the nation’s capital.
This “propaganda” is been trumpeted by artistes based in Kumasi more than any other jurisdiction in the country.
The artiste of the year in the Ashanti Music Awards who is currently out of the country took to his Instagram page to call out the organizers of the awards.
According to him, despite the number of years VGMA has been in operation, they still can’t put things together the right way.
He went as far as labelling the awards as fake and added that he’s only doing music for those who appreciate quality.
