Girl child education is something that the world has put a lot of focus and attention on in the 21st century. It is even captured in the SDGs.
Many organizations and individuals have embarked on humanitarian projects to help the girl child in schools.
Considering the many challenges that the girl child faces, they are always left behind their male counterparts in terms of education.
Big Brother Naija reality show star, Nengi Rebecca Hampson has also started a project to assist the girl child have a good learning experience.
Dubbed the “Nengi Girl Child Project”, she has been able to print a lot books to be distributed to some selected schools within Nigeria.
She took to her twitter handle to share a video of the numerous exercise books and added a famous quote by Benjamin Franklin on education as the caption to drum home her message.
